VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Sept. 20, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ray Laflamme, of PO Box 245, Maple Ridge, British Columbia V2X 7G1, announced today that on September 20, 2018 Mr. Laflamme sold, through its wholly-owned company Grass Roots Holdings Limited, 7,500,000 common shares (“Common Shares”) of VIVO Cannabis Inc. (“VIVO”), a company with a head office at 126 Vanluven Road, Napanee, Ontario K7R 3L2, at a price of CDN$1.37 per Common Share for an aggregate purchase price of CDN$10,275,000. Immediately prior to the disposition, Mr. Laflamme owned, directly or indirectly, or exercised control or direction over 45,393,040 Common Shares representing 15.8% of the total number of issued and outstanding Common Shares. After the disposition, Mr. Laflamme owns, directly or indirectly, or exercises control or direction over, 37,893,040 Common Shares, representing approximately 13.2% of the total number of issued and outstanding Common Shares. This change represents a decrease of approximately 2.6% in the total number of issued and outstanding Common Shares held by Mr. Laflamme. Mr. Laflamme’s disposition is being made for investment purposes. Mr. Laflamme may, in the future, increase or decrease his beneficial ownership, control or direction over securities of VIVO.
