Canada

On 22 April 2019, the Province of New Brunswick, Canada, reported a flood advisory in the regions south of Fredericton city due to a continuous increase of the St. John River Basin. Flooding occurred in the northern area (Clair/Fort Kent and Saint-Hilaire suburbs) and in the southern regions (Fredericton, Maugerville, Jemseg, Grand Lake, Sheffield-Lakeville Corner, Oak Point, and Quispamsis-Saint John). In addition, media reported the overflow of rivers and heavy rain in the Province of Quebec, where 2,500 homes were flooded, and 1,565 homes were damaged. Colombia (Update)

On 23 April 2019, the Colombia National Disaster Risk Management Unit (UNGRD), updated the flood situation in Colombia. To date, 30 deaths have been reported in Rosas town, Cauca Department, due to landslides. Since the beginning of April, media reported 9,550 families have been affected, 40 homes were destroyed, and 21 out of 32 departments were affected due to floods and landslides. Argentina (Update)

On 22 April 2019, media reported 5,400 people have been evacuated from Corrientes and Formosa Province, Pilcomayo Department, Argentina; this represents an increase of 3,400 since the last report on 17 April.
